一轉眼二少自己開始閱讀英文書籍已經一年多了。開學上了一年級後，他自己閱讀的意願卻不那麼高，所以這個英文書單大部份的書還是媽媽唸給他聽的。觀察後原因如下︰1. 一年級我們總是得追中文進度，而今年一年級的程度遠比哥哥那時要高，所以相對之下，二少時間比較少。2. 可能因為幼子依賴心重，要他獨立做些什麼，總是比大少要費勁﹗ 3. 也可能是每個孩子真的都有自己的時間表，什麼事情若時間未到，急死老娘也是沒用地。還好，這個狀況在六月考完期末考後，突然有了轉機。突然有那麼一天，二少居然自己拿起書來讀了，而且速度進步很快，一天終於可以看完一本簡單的章節書了﹗﹗媽媽放鞭砲慶祝中﹗
二少的書單明顯和大少很不一樣。之前提過，大少很愛動物方面的書，連小說也喜歡選動物為主角的書。二少對自然科學則完全沒興趣。他喜愛任何幽默搞笑的書，而且越〞兒童不宜〞他越愛﹗ 通常他喜愛的書一定有一個聰明卻狡猾的主角，打敗壞人敵人之餘，還不忘用刻薄的言語消遣別人。根本就和二少一樣，怪不得他看得有共鳴﹗ 來看看他今年（2012 年 7 月到 2013 年 6 月）的英文書單。紅色的是他的最愛﹗
